To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required within 5 days of receiving your confirmation email.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than four (4) weeks before the scheduled arrival date.
Payment instructions, including bank transfer details, will be emailed after booking confirmation. Please include your full name and trip date when making the payment.
Bookings are only valid after receiving an official invitation from Back To Human. Payments made before the invitation will not be accepted, and Back To Human is not responsible for mistakes, misunderstandings, or lost payments.
The 30% deposit is non-refundable if cancelled by the customer.
Cancellations 30 days or less prior to departure are non-refundable, including the deposit.
If Back To Human cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient participants, all payments including deposits will be fully refunded.
All participants must have valid travel insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation, and trip cancellation.
Proof of insurance may be requested at booking or prior to departure.
Back To Human is not responsible for costs or losses if a participant is not properly insured.
Participants are responsible for vaccinations, medical preparation, and necessary medication.
Participation in activities is voluntary and undertaken with awareness of potential risks.
Minor changes to hotels, transport, or activities may occur.
Back To Human reserves the right to make changes without issuing refunds.
Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions.
Any disputes will first be attempted to resolve through mediation; if needed, the competent court in the Netherlands has jurisdiction.
By participating in a trip with Back To Human, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, cost, or inconvenience, whether directly or indirectly.
Back To Human is not responsible for events beyond our control, including wars, civil unrest, terrorist acts, government restrictions, extreme weather, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, fires), strikes, accidents, or transport or equipment failures.
We cannot guarantee that specific requests—dietary needs, medical conditions, mobility, age-specific accommodations, or smoking/non-smoking preferences—will be fulfilled.
Back To Human is not responsible for the actions, delays, or cancellations of any external providers, including airlines, transport operators, hotels, guides, or other contractors.

Trips carry inherent risks, including serious injury or, in extreme cases, death. By booking, you acknowledge these risks. Back To Human and its partners cannot be held responsible for fatalities or serious harm, whether caused by natural conditions, third-party actions, or participant behavior.
Back To Human reserves the right to modify, restrict, or cancel any activity or service at our discretion for safety or operational reasons, without compensation.
It is your responsibility to check your itinerary. Any mistakes or discrepancies must be reported promptly. Late changes may incur additional fees.
